Coincidence

Grimshaw, Alberta - Thursday, November 15, 2007

I am pleasantly astounded by the chain of events that has put good old Crooked River back on the map. I was totally surprised that Mr. Ives had those photos and why in the world Tim did you go there to take those pretty fall pictures, and why did Darlene McCullough send me those pictures on the computer.

Anyway I am grateful that all these events took place. I can add a comment on Joe's photos. The third one shown ( bottom of this page) was Lawrence McRaes store. You can see the railing above the store to where their residence was. Well that is the residence in the picture I submitted of the wee party we held there (probably 1952 or so) where we were so enjoyably entertained by , Conductor Alec Fairbairn, Pianist Charlie Twyver and renowned vocalist Joe Kozakavich ha ha.

Thanks Tim for the coverage.
