FTLComm - Tisdale - May 30, 1999
This unusual picture of downtown Tisdale was taken with a telephoto
lens which has the effect of shrinking perspective
somewhat. This is what you see when looking South, situated on the street at a mid
point between the Credit Union and
the theatre. This is how things looked at about 2:30 Thursday afternoon. Though a
quarter mile away the elderly UGG
elevator appears to loom over the street. These wood structures were once the hallmark
of the Canadian Prairies and
within a very few years they will have vanished. Tisdale's four lane main street
makes it easy to get to where you are
going and there is rarely a time when you have to look hard for parking.
