the lamb of 2007 |
||||||
FTLComm - Tisdale - Thursday, March 1, 2007
This morning as the dawn of the first day of March began there were storm warnings and heavy snowfall warnings for southern Saskatchewan along and south of number one highway, but here in Tisdale we had gentle flakes of snow drifting down from the overcast sky with temperatures just at -10º and that pretty much defines the month coming in like a lamb for this part of the province. By mid day the temperature was up to -5º. |

However, conditions are all set for the normal series of March storms that make this the month of weather disturbances for the prairies. We have had small amounts of snow for four days straight and Environment Canada is hinting that we can expect things to be similar on through the weekend. Just a puff of wind would make things ugly.
