Mid October a time of change
Tisdale - Friday, October 12, 2012

Tomorrow we winterize the motorhome, the leaves on the trees in our yard are all but gone and we have see snow three times in three days.

The day time temperature this weekend is suppose to make it up into double digits but there is always a chance of some warm weather in late October.

Last week I asked
Paul at Fairburn Tire when he would like to make the change from summer to winter tires and he said people are already getting it done and we can make an appointment anytime now. Winter tires really do the job when the temperature drops below +5ºC as the rubber is softer than the way all season tires are constructed.

Yesterday it was time for our annual flu shot and if you missed it there are clinics scheduled in Saskatchewan health regions so check them out and give the shot for this year. The more people immunized the better it is for everyone. You can also get your shot at your doctor’s office.

Below is a video that shows the snow Wednesday afternoon, construction behind the hospital and the roof being replaced on the SGI building.
