Though the computers are the sort of equipment we at FTLComm used over a decade ago the furniture is modern and extremely functional. On the right are the machines used by high school students for accessing the Internet during school. This equipment is not in use by the public. Below left are the machines used by the public. During the summer a charge of $2.00 per hour is required to use this equipment. The library obtains its Internet access at the same rate as the rest of us which is $34 a month for two hundred hours and sixty cents an hour over that limit which suggests that the library is making a profit on the service and they also received a $12,000 grant for the equipment so it would appear the Public library has used the grant to finance other library services because their three computers certainly did not cost even half that much. The librarian's work room is seen below right.
