FTLComm - Prince Albert - September 5, 1998 In the scale of things a site that dates back to 1883 does not seem to be that old but in Saskatchewan terms this is one of the oldest European burial sites in the province. However, Cumberland House was settled by European traders in 1776 so it predates this site by over a century. Emmanuel College was found here and located just to the left of the church seen in this picture and was a boys theological school that was granted University status then turned that right |
