Friday Snow

It is winter for certain as the little bit of snow accumulates each night, little by little the dusting becomes a layer then another and so on. It is a gradual movement toward another time of year. The temperatures have modestly declined so that with the overcast and percipitation we get a not to unlikable -7.

This is a peaceful passage into the season of winter. Southeastern Saskatchewan had that nastly little storm that smacked them with an abrupt alteration in conditions but we have just been easing into it, this seems to be a good thing.

It is now still a month until the shortest day of the year yet the darkness seems to dominate already.
Below is our back yard the picture at the top of the page is of the front yard and the one above out the door to the North, these pictures were taken at 0900.
