The sand from the process builds up as it is pumped into the large tank to the right of the picture above and is used only once as it hammers the work. Below is a peek at the tank fabrication process as tops are being created on the left hand side of both images and a welder is gluing the rings of a tank together on the right. Should you happen upon an arc welder working, be sure to shield your eyes from the arc as the light is so intense that it will cause damage (essentially a blistering of the retina) to the eye. You will notice I did not expose the camera's CCD to the arc as the damage would be serious to the camera or to a video camera.
