| The walls and remains of the former GT Mechanical building that burnt down in the
fall have been haulled away and the concrete pad is all that remains. Town workmen
cleared off some remnants of the walls Friday afternoon to make the area safer for
Skateboarders. With the pad cleared off the various pieces of equipment associated
with the sport will move from the Lions park to this site for use here. Last summer
the high school parking lot was used for this purpose but it is hoped that this area
with its central location will be just what the young people who enjoy this activy
need. |
