A Daisy A Day

FTLComm - Tisdale - Sunday, July 1, 2001

Tell me, what is it about grass that makes people want to grow it, water it, fertilize it, cut it and put up signs that say "Don't walk on it?"

This back of a back yard has a profusion of daisies, cheery modest and almost chuckling to themselves as they probably look as good to each other as they do to the passer by.

Each little flower stands up and faces the sun each and every day during its rather long life (for a flower) and provides a great little snack for pollen loving insects and birds who eat pollen loving insects. All in all the daisy is a dandy and we are all better for having seen this bunch of them today.
