Can’t help myself, every year about this time I go off to the visual delightful place called a greenhouse. The good news is that one or two visits and I a good for another year. Yesterday we went out to the Four Season’s Greenhouses west of Tisdale and while my wife selected I indulged myself with the colours and captured some of those scenes on my digital camera.
When we got home I unloaded the images into my computer and savoured the scenes all over again. Then a glitch occurred, this almost never happens but after a restart of my computer my pretty pictures were all gone. I worked on it for a while hoping to find them somewhere in all of the hard drives then a call for help to my support guys came up with a suggestion and some software. Alas my version did not work so I had to download software then this afternoon went through the laborious task of search and repairing. Bottom line, they were gone.
Now here’s the thing. I could grab my camera and do it all again, so I did but there was something missing. I shot the same scenes I had yesterday but the sheen and excitement of doing this pleasant task for this year was now in repeat mode. However, good bad or indifferent I shot the images and I have posted them as “the pictures” so you can see my second effort. You will have to take my word for it, they were better the first time.
For now this will have to do, well until I get my fix next year at this time.
