Crocus crazy
Craven - Sunday, April 1, 2012
by: Ken Jones
Usually crocuses start April 20 each year but these pictures were taken on Friday, March 30.
These are from the crocus patch.
As usually each year I have found them on the northside of highway 99 (Craven Road) approx. 3/4 Mile west of
the junction of highway 99 and highway 6, that’s approximately 25 miles north of Regina on the flats of the Qu' Appelle Valley.

These images were taken close to noon Friday using a Canon EOS 7D with a Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro lens.
