Begun in September of 2006 with the plan to be up and running by the end of 2007. Well the $140,000,000 project came pretty close and this year's crop is being delivered and being processed. The plant is expected to produce 150 million litres of enthanol annually and produced 163,800 tonnes of dried distillers grains.

Ken Jones got these pictures of a one million bushel pile of high starch soft wheat grown specifically for ethanol production. When running at

 
 

capacity this plant will use up 15 such piles a year.

Grain is delivered by "B" train and it takes four minutes to unload.

In the picture above you can see the fertilizer plant in the distance.
