Yorkton - Thursday, August 28, 2008 Images by: Ken Jones | |||||
Ken Jones is a noted Regina photographer and has made many contributions to this web site through the years. Ken tends to be on hand for special events and has worked on Royal visits and sporting events. I mention this because it is important to understand that he does not only take pictures of flowers. Ken takes pictures and sometime those pictures of flowers. |

This set of images of lilies were photographed at two different locations. Some were taken on a farm North East of Yorkton at the garden of Marlene Bartlett. |

Ken has been able to capture the subtle shades of light on these flowers and even the beads of water droplets that seem to act as decorations on the subject. Check out your camera and you will find that most digital cameras have a "macro" setting that will let you get up close to a subject and record the details. Just pay close attention to the light and shadows to get the best shot. |
