			This problem of perspective was most noticeable when Mike Berard, seen below was flying his electric powered glider. His aircraft is hand launched using an electric motor to power its propeller, which folds up when he gets it up to altitude and begins his free flight gliding. On the right is a departure mishap and the picture below right shows only mud to clean up from a premature landing. The main landing gear was dislodged but the rugged construction was back in the air in minutes.
