Neuport 17

FTLComm - Moose Jaw - February 16, 1999
In 1976 when I took this photograph this aircraft was almost brand new. It is a carefully crafted exact replica of the famous allied World War I fighter the Neuport 17. This aircraft flew in the Moose Jaw airshow that year and now rests peacefully in the Rockcliff museum in Ottawa. Though less notorious in battle then the Camel this was a much better behaved aircraft and was probably one of the more stable gun platforms of the era.
