FTLComm - Tisdale - June 9, 2000
At about four this morning Tisdale was treated to a shower with thunder lightening and what seemed like lots of rain. I got up to check out the show and there was nothing to see the thunder clouds were embedded above the overcast ceiling and all there was to be seen was the rain pouring down.

I have to accept full responsibility for this event. Yesterday I noticed that despite the gray clouds the lawn and garden were extremely dry. I got out the water hose and drenched a flower bed and a couple of evergreens that looked pretty thirsty. Then I set to washing the van. I did a good job and as you can see the conditions around town are the direct result of my diligence

The picture at the top of the page and the one on the right are from the Petro Canada station just East of town where I refuelled the shiny FTLComm van. It takes a fair amount of water to get things as muddy as this.
Below is the storage yard North Steel uses for new and used tanks about to be refurbished. No place to be strolling with out rubber boots this morning.
