Carnival at Red Earth

With summer only a few days old its time for the carnivals to make their rounds and this one is entertaining the folks at Red Earth First Nations yesterday and today. Though there was a light rainfall at 6:00PM when these pictures were taken as you can see there were lots of people on hand and later in the evening there were still more folks out to enjoy the cool evening.

As I was parking nearby at Wi-waykinow Elementary School three passive steeds ambled by on their way to check out the excitement. As you can see below this is a well equipped carnival with some outstanding rides and the usual accompanying midway kind of money makers.
