Fran was there to collect my $6.00 and as I was early I walked right up and was able to get my quiche, salad, bread, a chocolate dessert and a coffee. I saw down with Mrs. Rosvold and had a wonderful lunch. The quiche was absolutely perfect and with the salad and dessert it was just the right amount for a perfect lunch. Oh, we must do this again. In the picture on the right you can see an empty table but behind me there was a solid line up that soon filled every chair in the room and when I left at 12:30 there were still more folks just coming in. Business, professionals and the rest of us were there to have an excellent lunch and share in outstanding company. The Tisdale Healthcare Auxiliary sponsored and served up this first class meal and I sure hope they consider doing this little fund raiser again. As always sharing a meal is never about the food, although in this case the food was outstanding, but the warmth and good spirits simply allow you to zip through the rest of the day with a smile. Let's do this again. |
