Midget Ramblers 5 - 3 over Kindersley Klippers

The Midget "AA" Ramblers hosted the Kindersley Klippers Sunday afternoon in one of those typical Tisdale barn burner games. Both teams have well developed scoring plays and hard working defense so it is understandable that with ten minutes to play in the game

the Klippers were leading by one with a score of 3 - 2 and twenty-nine shots each on goal. With just less than five minutes left Tisdale tied things up and two minutes later went ahead. With nothing to lose Kindersley yanked the goalie and in a "will he make it?" play Tisdale put the final point on the scoreboard to win a really great game. Tisdale's captain Drew Tarala who towers above many of his teammates is an impressive presence on the ice and not just in size but in solid play and coordinated defense with offense. Looks like the Rambler midgets are off to a good start this year.
