Trojans do charity breakfast

FTLComm - Tisdale - Tuesday, December 14, 2004

Saturday morning the Tisdale Trojans served up breakfast to their supports in a Charity event with the profits going to support the Trojan's support for the hamper programme this Christmas. The breakfast began at 8:30 and the Beeland Co-op cafeteria was full as the whole team were looking after everything from pouring the pancakes and serving sausage and coffee to greeting their fans and supporters.

The hamper project continues this weekend at the Sunday game when specators are asked to bring an item of non-perishable food
goods for distribution in the hampers that the Trojans will be making for needy families.

The Trojans play Thursday night in Prince Albert and then at home this weekend at 8:00 Saturday night and 2:00 Sunday against the Moose Jaw Warriors. The Trojans are now sitting at fourth in their league having lost their last four games straight. This is an important set of games against Moose Jaw as the Warriors are number three in the league behind the Hounds in second place and the Contacts who comfortably hold down first place.
