Trojan captain wins SMAAAHL award

President, Dwight Olson of the Trojans Hockey team made the following announcement today:

The Saskatchewan Midget AAA Hockey League has announced their League Awards for the 2006 – 2007 season. Carson Schell a 3rd year player and Captain this season was awarded the Chuck Herriot Scholarship Award. The Tisdale Trojan Executive wishes to congratulate Carson’s accomplishments and all the best in the upcoming season playing with the Nanaimo Clippers of the BCHL.

In other SMAAAHL awards Craig McCallum of Beardy's Blackhawks and Matt Strueby of the Regina Pat Canadians share the league's most valuable player award and the top defenceman award goes to former Trojan Tommy Brown who has played the last two seasons with the Prince Albert Mintos.
