Trojans tie and lose one this past week end
FTLComm - Tisdale - Monday, November 10, 2008

At the top of the page is a picture of the presentation before the game Sunday afternoon. Saturday night the Regina Pat Canadians and the Trojans played the full game with a two-all tie and then were unable to resolve the situation in overtime. As mentioned on Thursday, these games were expected to be really good games and the fans really appreciated the outstanding hocke they saw.

Sunday afternoon the Trojans dropped behind as the Pat Canadians slipped in the first goal and it was a catch up game from there on in and

Trojans just didn't catch up as the game ended two to one for Regina. It was clear from the opening minutes of the game that both teams are positional and great skaters. The play went from end to end side to side without a let up. Outstanding hockey for the spectator and exciting stuff for the players.

The Trojans still maintain a two point lead as the number one team in the league with the weekend games up in the Battlefords then they will be back at home on the weekend of the 22nd - 23rd against the Moose Jaw Warriors.
