RBC's third annual teddy bear toss

FTLComm - Tisdale - Tuesday, December 16, 2008

The staff of the Tisdale branch of the Royal Bank of Canada have been invovled with assembling stuffed toys for the Christmas hampers of the Salvation Army for many years but three years ago the project became part of the Tisdale Trojan tradition.

Here is how Trojan president Dwight Olson describes the project:

The Teddy Bear Toss will take place on Wednesday December 17 at 8:00 pm when the Trojans take on the Beardy’s Blackhawks. We encourage our Fans to bring a new Stuffed animal to the game. When the Trojans score their first goal of the game, toss your stuffed animal onto the ice surface. All Teddy Bears are donated to the Salvation Army for their Christmas Hampers.
