Overtime

FTLComm - Tisdale - Friday, March 12, 2004

Last Saturday one of the crows that was born in the tall evergreens over our front yard came back for the year. He checked out his old home than lifted off to check to see if any of his buddies had made it back.

But since then the temperature fell, the wind came up and it was pretty much a week of winter. Most of us are already feeling the pressure from cabin fever and today with the temperature at noon two degrees above freezing I put on a summer jacket and my cameras and away I went. Its time for things to start their warm up period.

South west of Tisdale where these images were taken it looks like winter is working overtime and as I lined these pictures up the CBC was describing a weather warning for the southern grainbelt and a heavy snow warning for the northern grainbelt. By two the sky had clouded over and a few minutes ago (6:45) my wife reported that it was snowing in Prince Albert.
