The Dog Hide River
On Sunday, April 3 at about 2:16 the picture on the right shows that little has changed. However, the river's course is now well sunken down.
The picture below was taken at 5:30 on Monday, April 4 and the change is quite dramatic as we can see water now pooling in the river and a few patches of pasture sticking through the snow.
The picture below was taken at 4:17 yesterday, April 5. The accumulated water is growing as the snow in the pasture melts.
In the image below the camera gives us a bit wider view back a bit from the bridge and was taken close to four o'clock this afternoon. The pasture is losing its snow but in days this whole area will be entirely covered in water.
The picture on the right is taken from the old highway bridge north of Tisdale looking east with Harvest Valley terminal on the horizon. The is completely covered in snow and as you can see on the right of the image that snow is very deep. This is how the scene looked at 5:00 on Friday, April 1.
The same area is seen below as it looked at 5:37 on Monday, April 4. A pool of water is accumulating absorbing the deep snow.
Below the size of the pool of water has grown as we see it as it looked at 3:47 yesterday, Tuesday, April 5.
In the shot below there is now at trickle of water flowing into the growing pool over the little rapids that are at the neck of the turn in the river. This was how it looked at 4:00 this afternoon.
This is looked over the West side of the old bridge this afternoon.
