FTLComm - Tisdale - October 31, 1999
The last day of the month of October in the last year of the century in the last year of the millinium it seems like an important time doesn't it?
As Saturday night slipped away it was before six in the evening we had walked down town did a little shopping and were strolling back with a gentle breeze coming across the plain and the temperature right at +5 which is really remarkably close to the statistical average for this time of the year.
This the way October 31st began in Tisdale. The sun flashed below the overcast as it inched its way into the Southern sky and to obscurity above the heavy morning overcast. As the morning progresses so has the depth of the overhead cloud and with the passing hours we are moving closer to the point where white crystals will begin to descend from those shadows above us.
