Tourist booth closes this weekend

FTLComm - Tisdale - Saturday, Agusut 31, 2002
This summer the Tisdale Tourist booth has been open and providing a valued service both to the community and to the visitors to the area. Four individuals have worked in the booth and when I asked how the summer has been the young lady told she had only been there for the past two weeks.

She is in her third year at Mount Royal school of Journalism in Calgary and spent the rest of the summer interning at a Saskatoon TV station.

The tourist booth is on the leading edge of the community's approach to visitors and each year the staff make a great effort to show off the services and highlights that make this a great place to visit. This year the outstanding posters with pictures of various activities and things to see and do really tells the Tisdale story.

But alas the summer has come to an end and the booth closes its doors until next Victoria Day when it resumes operations.
