Bonnita Leibel is the supervisor at the tourist booth for this year
Tourist booth open for another season

FTLComm - Tisdale - Tuesday, May 20, 2008

With the Victoria Day weekend the Tisdale Tourist booth came back to life for the summer season this year with Bonnita Leibel (above) in charge of a staff of three.

The minature golf course is presently out of service as it is being completely overhauled for this season and will be given a fresh look over then next week or two.

Pauline Alexander, (left) a university student studying social work in Winnipeg is part of this year's staff.

Graduating high school student, Kelsey Wenbourne (right) will also be on hand to meet and greet this year's crop of tourists who drop into the booth.

The campground is fully operational with the washrooms having been replaced this year. Each year the Tisdale campground does a steady business right through the summer and last year had a lot of campers during hunting season. This cool spring has left the trees bare of leaves so far a bit behind what we have had in other years.
