| Yesterday we displayed the image of a Prince Albert red tree this one is much smaller
but also much darker in colour and located here in Tisdale. Though the tree is remarkable the 1960 Thunderbird on the driveway is quite a specimen. Ford first built its little sport car on a small compact wheel base similar to what would in time become the Mustang. But each successive year it grew a little bit in size so that by the time this version rolled off the assembly lines in the fall of 1959 it was nearly as big as the full size Ford sedan of the day which itself was taking on considerable size. This particular car is dress in original paint and livery. |
