Crystalline Cover

This set of gnarled trees provide excellent privacy and separate the yard so that the garden and lawn are two distinct areas but in the winter their extensive branch network takes on an entirely different pattern with each day. The lack of wind let the fluffy snow crystals falling over night to settle on each limb and twig forming the image you see here. Even the various telephone and power cables in the back alley have white lines of fresh snow on them.
