Its February

FTLComm - Tisdae - Thursday, February 1, 2007

I think the main reason for my bias and condemnation of the month of February comes not so much from the events or lack of them in this part of the year but in the very name of the month itself. I still wonder about its pronounciation and as a poor speller that word has never been a favourite of mine.

But, putting asside my little annoyance with the month of February you have to admit it has the record for being a time when the weather seems most to lack a sense of humour. Cold, snow, storms, fog, overcast and during our eleven years in Tisdale February has proved to be a bad month for weather.

This morning began with almost a cloudless sky and a bit of a breeze from the northwest with blowing snow then by mid day it had worked itself up into a mild blizzard and then even let the sun squeeze of a glint before setting. All in all a bit on the depressing side and we only have twenty-seven more days of this month to endure.
