On a winter's day

FTLComm - Tisdale - Monday, December 8, 2008

These pictures were taken in Tisdale Sunday morning as we drove around the community with a fresh layer of snow making everything glisten under the dazzling morning sun with its long December shadows.

This is the real life we each have to deal with as we get out a warmer coat to wear and take time to warm up the vehicle a bit before we charge off. The pace of life changes as winter deepens. We have had for several weeks temepratures in the range of -5ºC to -12ºC now things have changed as -12ºC to -20ºC is

now the norm. But as every year we get used to things and before we know it the days will be getting longer and we will be looking for spring.

The events in Ottawa this past week or so has really brought Canadians to their keyboards as the unusual political situation seems to demand a response. Here at Ensign I have been just overwhelmed at the exceptional contributions that have come in and the serious thought that has been put into each of them. I have had pieces from one side of the country to the other and will do my best to post as many as I can.
