I have seen this thing before and it is a very bad sign, as you can see developing under these two trees there is a serious rash or discolouration occurring The general pattern of this yard infection is to rapidly spread over the entire area and it could easily last for as much as six months. The brown material appears first then it gradually begins to turn green producing really difficult conditions. Like many others we have a tool just to control the green material and slavishly consume countless hours of time cutting it. The whole process seems to improve about five months from now when the green begins to fade and the brown you see in these patches returns and then is replaced by the purity of white material which is the "normal" and preferred condition for the yard. |
