Much like Canada the United States is a beautiful place but it seems to be entrenched in a level of violence that is part and parcel of what it is and what it will be. Michael is spending the winter in Yuma away from his home in Kamloops and thinks perhaps this may be the end of winters in the warmth and sunlight.

Regina, Saskatoon and Prince Albert are all complaining about their snow but compared to Tisdale, Naicam, Nipawin and Carrot River they are just whiners. Interestingly enough it is this time of the year we actually get the most snow so there is much more to come.
