Walls up in March

FTLComm - Tisdale - Tuesday, March 6, 2006

It was away back on September 23 that we first reported on the preparation of this site for this project and though Rise Construction is the main contractor and one of the swiftest construction companies in town this project has not moved along as quickly as others and obviously it is because of the weather conditions. In the fall there was rain, rain and more rain to slow the establishing of the footings and the floor and by then winter came and construction ground to a halt.

But the warmer weather has permitted things to get going again and the walls are all in place and the rafters piled up waiting to be installed. Building a building like this in winter is never a fun thing and can often take four to five times the normal time for construction to take place.
