FTLComm - Tisdale - Thursday, June 1, 2006

Through the years it has always been about the plants, the flowers, the growing things that are life itself. Mrs. Rowley has carried the passion for the way things grow for a long time and we in Tisdale have enjoyed her gift and shared her passion.

in September. The one in September put Mrs. Rowley in a canoe to get out from her flooded home. Not only had the river conspired against her but the sewer system filled her bath tub.

All but one of the greenhouses are gone and the house is nearly torn down now. There was a little settlement from the insurance company and plans are to rebuild on the site. She told me she intends to keep her hand in with some growing things for the farmers market and perhaps next year some bedding plants.

Take a look at the place back in September 2000.
