FTLComm - Tisdale - July 12, 1998 This day one hundred years ago the first mass was said in Tisdale. To commemorate that event the parish held this special mass outdoors on the site of the St. Therese hospital. Besides the Bishop attending people from Ontario, Manitoba and Alberta made their way back home to be part of this special event. In the lower right hand corner you can see the setting as it was on Saturday. This remarkable event illustrates the dynamic vitality of the Roman Catholic community. In his remarks preceding today's mass which began at 10:30 the master of ceremonies reviewed briefly the history of the parish and the progress it is making now with renovations to the present building. He said that the
