Perhaps the most obvious symbol of vitality is the highway intersection on the South side of town. A year ago the Shell was about to close up and in August the 7-11 franchised outlet opened on the site and things haven't been the same since. This week the parking lot is getting the full treatment, but that has not slowed business one bit, as this site continues to be one of the most bustling locations in town. Anyone driving into the7 - 11parking lot has to do so with caution and even more so upon leaving, with traffic on both highways steady almost twenty-four hours a day.
