New curbs for north NewMarket

These pictures were taken Wednesday, June 23 as the curbing contractor was wrapping up the work on the northern portion of NewMarket and Fairy Glen cul-de-sac.

The installation of new curbs for this the newest portion of Tisdale suggests that some time in the future there are plans to see pavement laid on the streets. Preparation work for the laying of pavement on the north side of Forester Crescent was carried out last fall but the arrival of wet weather and early winter put an end to the paving work planned for 2009. There is some indication that the paving crew might arrive back in Tisdale in early July to complete the work left over from last year.
