During the Easter weekend Ensign presented some pictures of a tiny digger that was seen in Winnipeg. But right here in Tisdale from Tisdale Rentals, you can rent this even smaller version made by the same company. To give you some perspective in size the picture on the right shows the one we photographed in Winnipeg with the little one here in Tisdale. I just did not realise that such devices were available. Perhaps either of these is a little more then a person needs to dig up the garden but might be just what would be handy to put in a sidewalk,, put in a back yard pond or run an underground power or water line to the tool shed or farm shop. This machine rents for $50 an hour or $200 for a day. It weighs about 3,000 pounds and is equipped with a two cylinder diesel engine. It can dig a trench five feet deep.
