The picture on the right shows the spinning cleaning/cutting head that has just passed through a joint in the sewer line. You can see the head spinning in the image and pressure washing water spraying around. The video image is recorded with a log sequence right on the screen indicating the position of the camera as it progressed down the line. The image the operator works with is clear and impressive but they pointed out that this is their back up camera the really good ones both are down for repairs and they are forced to use this one to complete this job. With such a complex set of equipment with so many different types of lines used to do the work frequent break downs are a part of the business. Below is the inside of one of the large trucks partly filled with ice used to retard the hardening of the plastic used to create a new liner inside the old concrete sewer line. The portable toilet is one of many situated along the street.
