The pictures in this article were scanned from some degrading negatives in our collection but from them you can clearly see that the Edmonton Staggerwing has a larger cowl and perhaps a Pratt and Whitney inside that cowling of the type used on a Beaver. The picture below comes from the cover of Walter J. Boyne's book Classic Aircraft and was actually taken by Pat Zerbe for Beechcraft.
