After seventeen wins in a row Tisdale fans had come to expect their team would rumble over Hudson Bay easily and there was a small crowd of Tisdale supporters in the stands and the supportive Hudson Bay fans made their presence known.

Despite the loss it was a good hockey game as the Ramblers put their machinelike offense to work in the third period but missed some a couple of players who have made this season such a success. Darrel Mann is in front of the opposition net in this picture and was unceremoniously dumped and the Hunters given a roughing penalty which resulted in a Rambler goal. Notice that at this point, with ten minutes left in the third period the Ramblers had outshot the Hunters 29 to 12 which is a credit to the Hunters goalie.
