Above is a shot of the Maulers final fifth goal of the game and their play was lead by a fine player Jeff Lucky who was on his toes throughout the game but could really have used some better support from defense which seemed a bit soft. Half way through the third period Trojan Jordon Spagrud and a the talkative Mauler, Rockie Zinger attempted to settle something somebody said (lower left) and got a quick trip to the showers. Zinger is a hot centre for the Maulers and was obviously frustrated with his team's performance, though he had made a few comments in periods one and two it wasn't until the game was lost that he lost control of things and a fight resulted. One should not misunderstand, this little flare-up was the only interruption in a quick moving well officiated game.
