FTLComm - Tisdale - August 10, 1998 The harvest is in progress and this seen only six kilometres North of Tisdale shows a farmer knocking down an excellent wheat crop. Having been dry here for some time the cutting can go on until darkness descends on this field, this picture was taken at about 8:20 Sunday night. This full quarter section would take a full day to swath. This farmer said it would be ready to combine by the middle of the week but first there are a lot of other fields to swath before it will be time to get the combine out into the field.
