Day 4. Did Mount Rhonda today trekking in just exceptional conditions. I exchanged
my foot wear for my own boots. Amazing difference!! They stayed dry for about 2 hours
of the 8 hour trip but wet feet were much easier to cope with than shins that felt
like they were caving in. The weather was perfect. The sun shone for 7 of the 8 hours
with the 8th hour bringing rain, sleet and high winds. We got out on the glacier,
oriented ourselves
with the map and compass and set off for Mount Rhonda. |
