The transistion from Zellers to
Best Value at the Tisdale Mall
continues as the stock is being reduced with the floorspace and work continues in
altering the atmosphere to conform to the new character of the store. One of the
things that became obvious today was that the new store will include a pharmacy bringing
to five the total of drug stores in Tisdale.
 The two
down town drug stores faced the competition from the Co-op,
then Extra Food installed their
pharmacy in their store's make over from OK-Economy. Perhaps it is more of
a commentary on the nature of drug stores in this era as they seem to be much more
into general merchandising then their traditional role as the source of prescriptive
medicine. |
