Crushing the monopoly

I was reading the "Crushing the Wheat Board" item on your web site and felt the urge to let your readers know the far less dramatic truth of the matter.
The CWB may be crushed - I give you that but it will not be crushed by this government or any other.
If it is crushed it will be for one of two reasons:
- They will crush themselves by spending all the farmers money on lawsuits and complaining about the government.
- Once farmers are allowed to choose how, when and where they can sell their wheat and barley production farmers may crush the board by choosing to market their grain on the open market.
Remember this government is not crushing the CWB - this government is crushing the monopoly legislation that has be imposed on farmers in western Canada only.
This is the simple and so unmelodramatic fact of the matter.
