We have shown only a few homes on this page but there is a good mix of new and older homes in the community but no matter what their age the common theme is seen throughout. Neatly trimmed grass, bountiful gardens, flowers everywhere and not a sign of litter to be seen. The yard on the left has these meticulously groomed trees which must require a huge amount of work to maintain.

The house on the lower left has hanging blooming flower pots all around the house.

The house below was one of several with covered patios but these three house are fairly representative of what you find in
Bjorkdale. The village stretches out for nearly a mile as dwellings are located on the hillside and along a main paved road through the town. The agriculture surrounding the community is surprisingly mixed with grain farmers, cattle farms, a farm with Lamas just East of the community, a game farm or two and some farms with bison. Because of the abundant bush there is a small private sawmill just West of the town.
